About Us

Mole Hill Pottery offers some of the finest crafts in the region.  Visit our Gallery and experience beautiful handmade treasures of potters, woodworkers and jewelers.  Established in 1980, Mole Hill Pottery has long been the gallery of choice for discrete shoppers in Chattanooga and the surrounding area.

Mole Hill Pottery was founded by potter, Kathy Owens, when she transformed the ground floor of her Signal Mountain home into a studio and gallery.  As the business grew, Kathy moved the gallery to a storefront and began to carry the works of many of her favorite potters and other artisans.  In March 2007, after 15 years at her last Signal Mountain location, Kathy decided to relocate to the Southside area of Chattanooga.  Downtown Chattanooga, especially the Southside area, is experiencing a renaissance which offers a fun and exciting shopping and dining atmosphere.

Kathy continues to create pottery for sale at the Gallery including one of-a- kind pieces along with her well-known angel series.   You will also find the works of over 25 of the finest potters Kathy has discovered and represented over the past 27 years.  Many of these potters have Southern roots and offer creations in stoneware, porcelain, and raku and are finished in a variety of glaze colors including reds, yellows, purples, blues, browns, and blacks.

Mole Hill Pottery is located at 1404 Cowart Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the Galleries of Southside.  When you enter the Galleries, just ask a sales associate, and they will assist with directions and information.   Mole Hill Pottery offers a complete Bridal Registry and gift boxes.  Phone orders and shipping are also available.

Mole Hill Pottery is open from 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday.   Major credit cards are accepted.   Please call 423-267-8101.
